- Be motivated to learn

Determine what you really need to know

- Identify knowledge that positivelly influences your life
- Commit to a daily learning schedule
- Be realistic, consider the long term
- Select multiple subjects

Locate sources of information

- Limited time gives preferent to incremental collection and learning
- Select information of the highest priority

Formulate knowledge for active recall
|
- Effective learning requires repetition
- Everything you remember is rehearsed in some way
- Effective repetition must be based on active recall
- Must be question/answer, passive information exposure does not work

Repeat the material in properly selected intervals of time

- Spaced repetition is the key to superior learning and memory
- Well spaced repetitions minimise effort and maxmise retention

Do not neglect knowledge management
